Ross has changed over the years from a small town with some very wealthy denizens with large estates and some middle class residents with modest homes to a equally small town, but almost entirely made up of well-heeled occupants. Some things don't change. It has maintained its small town ambiance; everyone must visit the local post office to pick up their mail; Eddie's, now Ross Market, is still there allowing children and their parents to put purchases on their account; the local school still houses K - 8 grades in one facility; and one can still see the locales for exterior film shots of "The Godfather" and "Jack" within yards of downtown. Great weather, great schools, tree lined streets, and easy access to Mt. Tamalpais hiking trails make this an idyllic spot.
